The air shuddered, and the Moby Dick was driven deep into the sea.
Whitebeard used that tremendous tremor to launch himself into the sky.
In the blink of an eye, he had reached the same bank of clouds as Kaido.
His eyes shifted toward the enormous dragon, flashing with a cold gleam. Another tremor burst beneath his feet, and he hurtled forward.
"Kaido!!!"
"You want to take my head?"
"Then let's see if you have what it takes!"
Almost instantly, he appeared above Kaido's head, gripping the naginata's shaft with both hands and swinging it down.
Brilliant arcs of electricity erupted, and black-red lightning shot hundreds of meters outward.
Kaido jerked his head up, his pupils contracting in an instant.

The blade slammed into the top of his head with unstoppable, savage force.
Blinding speed. Crushing power!
The blow nearly knocked Kaido's eyes out of their sockets. He spat out a mouthful of blood, staining a vast stretch of sky red.
His enormous dragon body plummeted.
But his eyes quickly sharpened, and he forcibly halted his falling body.
Then his massive dragon form rapidly shrank, becoming half man, half dragon.
Crackle!
Gripping his enormous, heavy club, Kaido soared upward toward Whitebeard in the sky.
"Then let's have a proper fight, Whitebeard!!!"
"Dying here is better than falling to the Navy and leaving this world in misery!"
Whitebeard's eyes were icy as he dove down, holding his naginata in both hands.
Crackle!
Black-red lightning flashed, coiling around them both.
Their eyes met, and sparks flickered in midair.
In the blink of an eye, they clashed.
"Uwahahahaha!"
Whitebeard roared, his white hair streaming behind him as he swung his blade with all his might.
"Thunder Bagua!"
Kaido's face twisted with savage madness.
