"To think someone like you would end up trapped in Impel Down!"
Inazuma studied Rayleigh carefully, then spoke in astonishment.
"For my beloved pupil, taking a little risk was worth it."
Rayleigh smiled.
"Your pupil?"
"Straw Hat? He certainly is brave!"
Inazuma looked at Luffy, whose body had turned all sorts of colors, on Rayleigh's back and nodded.
They had watched that battle from afar. The power of Magellan's Venom-Venom Fruit was certainly not to be underestimated. It was terrifying.
"Come on, hurry! Otherwise, they'll find you before long."
Inazuma called out again.
Rayleigh nodded. Without any further hesitation, he followed Inazuma into the inconspicuous passage.
"The Revolutionary Army?!"
Jewelry Bonney was utterly shocked.
She had never expected to encounter the Revolutionary Army here. She had sneaked in solely to rescue Kuma.
After the events at the Sabaody Archipelago, Kuma had disappeared. She had reason to suspect that he had paid a considerable price to save her.
Sacrificing himself to persuade the Navy to let her go was something only her biological father would do.
Moreover, she had later heard that he had done something to Straw Hat as well. That made her suspect even more strongly that her old man had already been sent to Impel Down.
"Hey, you've been here a long time, right?"
"Have you heard anything about Bartholomew Kuma?"
Inazuma paused at her words and glanced back at Bonney. "Kuma? What are you to him?"
Jewelry Bonney bit her lip, clearly unwilling to say much.
"She's Kuma's daughter."
Rayleigh, however, answered with a smile.
"His daughter!"
Somewhat surprised, Inazuma looked back again as they ran.
Then he smiled and said, "I haven't heard anything about him in Impel Down. But as one of the Shichibukai, he should be preparing for the coming war!"
Jewelry Bonney froze.
