God Enel

The Four Priests might have been useless, but on Sky Island, not just anyone could kill one of them in an instant. Even Enel might not have managed it without going all out.

Shadley's death could be explained away as carelessness during a first encounter, when he hadn't known what his enemy could do.

But after Shadley died, the other Priests would surely have been on full alert. Yet Shura had been killed in a single exchange too.

It made no sense.

That was how Enel felt.

Crunch!

Enel took a bite of the apple in his hand, then came back to himself. He tossed the unfinished apple aside, sat up straight, and looked coldly at the black-bearded Priests before him. "Tell the Divine Soldiers to gather at the ruins. They can stop trying to block those Blue Sea People in the forest."

"Hm!"

He seemed to sense something and shook his head. "Forget it. They've already run into them."

With that, he rose and picked up the Golden Scepter beside his chair.

"I'll go take a look. Clean this place up."

Enel's body turned into a streak of lightning and vanished with a hum.

"Yes, God."

The Priests and Maids answered and straightened up, but Enel was already gone. They were used to it. They quietly looked away and returned to their tasks.

Once God stepped in, whoever the enemy was, death was certain.

They had no doubt about it.

Even the Maid who feared Enel so much had no doubts about his strength.

So although she feared and hated him, and although he placed no restrictions on where she went, she did not dare run away.

Over the years, she had seen too many other Maids flee, only for Enel to bring Divine Punishment down on them. None
