An Admiral and a Legend Mobilize

Outside the Auction House.

After eating his fill and paying for his meal, Ace sat by the restaurant entrance, picking his teeth and staring into space.

He generally only skipped out on the bill when he had no money.

He had just arrived from the New World, so of course he had money on him.

"Why hasn't Silver Hair shown up yet?"

"Wasn't he supposed to arrive sometime these two days?"

Lowering his head toward the trash can beneath the table, Ace spat out the meat gristle he had picked from his teeth, shook his head, and threw away the toothpick.

"Forget it. I'll go take a look around!"

"Maybe they're already on the archipelago, and I just don't know it."

With that thought, Ace stood, politely thanked the waiter beside him, then turned and strolled leisurely outside.

Just then, the Auction House doors suddenly opened, and people poured out like a surging tide.

Some screamed as they ran.

"Ah! A Celestial Dragon—

"was attacked! A Celestial Dragon was attacked!"

Everyone who heard the screams stopped what they were doing, terror instantly spreading across their faces.

No matter who they were, anyone who understood those words dropped everything, turned, and ran in the opposite direction from the Auction House.

These natives of the Sabaody Archipelago feared the Celestial Dragons from the depths of their hearts.

Even hearing that a Celestial Dragon had been attacked brought them not the slightest pleasure. Instead, they resented the bastard who had done it.

Then came overwhelming terror.

Everyone knew that attacking a Celestial Dragon was an earth-shattering matter. The Marines would soon occupy the area, and a Marine Admiral would arrive at any moment.
