After washing up, Dian was on his way back when he suddenly spotted several purple figures darting past the tent.

He raised an eyebrow and kept walking over, discovering three yellow, pear-shaped Berries in the grass beside the tent.

"Are these Sitrus Berries?"

Dian picked one up and examined it closely. Sure enough, it was a Sitrus Berry, one of the Berries used to make Potions. Its effects and flavor were quite similar to those of an Oran Berry.

These Berries were fairly effective at restoring stamina and were a staple food for wild Pokémon. And it wasn't just Pokémon that enjoyed them; humans were very fond of them too.

Their flavor was quite unusual, combining sourness, sweetness, bitterness, spiciness, and astringency. Yet, wonderfully, these flavors blended together perfectly, creating an unbelievably delicious taste. They could truly be called a gift from nature.

Seeing the three Berries, he knew without a doubt that the figures just now had been the three Rattata from last night. These Sitrus Berries were their thank-you gift.

Dian couldn't help chuckling. He hadn't expected these wild Pokémon to be so unwilling to owe anyone a favor. The sun-loving Sentret, the Pidgey that had returned to its flock, and these three Rattata were all the same in that regard. It was rather amusing.

After a moment's thought, he put away the three Sitrus Berries, then left another pile of Pokéblocks in their place.

Just then, Miss Misdreavus flew back at top speed, circled him once, and set her sights on the three Sitrus Berries he was holding.

Dian wasn't the only one who remembered these Berries. Misdreavus, who had once tried them out of curiosity, also remembered their wonderful flavor.
