"Capture!"

Dian looked at the Bibarel before him and flung out his Styler without hesitation, beginning the capture maneuver he knew so well.

There were currently three kinds of Capture Styler: a training model, a Universal-Type Capture Styler for regional Pokémon Rangers, and an Advanced Styler used by Chief Pokémon Rangers.

The green Capture Styler in his hand was the training model.

To Dian, the Capture Styler felt more like an Aura amplifier. Even if it was not one, it was something similar. Professor Shinhara must have consulted plenty of material on Aura while developing it. He might even have been able to use Aura himself.

A top-like device spun rapidly around the bewildered Bibarel. Guided by Dian's movements and his intensely focused intent, it soon became a white ring.

Buzz!

The white ring suddenly contracted, then sank into Bibarel's body.

When Dian looked at his Capture Styler again, its screen displayed a rainbow of emotional fluctuations. They were Bibarel's feelings at that moment—and proof that the capture had succeeded.

"Bibarel."

Dian reeled in the training Styler and said, "Use Rototiller."

"Dah!"

Bibarel immediately began tilling the ground.

"Good, that worked."

Anli held a notebook and swiftly recorded the relevant data.

She nodded in satisfaction. "Next, Hyuga."

"OK."

Hyuga stepped forward and performed the same capture maneuver, then had Bibarel till the ground as well.

This tested the students' capture skills while opening up a plot of farmland. Two birds with one stone.

After all, Pokémon Rangers did not only handle dangerous or extremely difficult work. They helped solve small problems in everyday life, too.

Once Hyuga, Achū, and Xia Ye had all completed their captures, Principal Ramo walked over.

"Well, your studies here at the Academy end today."
