The Soul Dew reappears

Tap, tap, tap.

A girl ran over happily and grabbed Ash's arm.

"Latias?"

Kanon walked over from the side, looking puzzled. "Grandpa, what's going on with Latias and Latios?"

"I don't know either. The Soul Dew is still here, and there's no sign of anyone entering the courtyard. I have no idea."

Ben Gray looked just as confused. "I saw how panicked Latias looked and thought something had happened in the garden, so I hurried over. But..."

"Me too. After I saw Latias, I went out the side door, and Latios brought me here."

Kanon tilted her head and frowned.

After thinking it over, she shook her head, then asked with a smile, "Grandpa, who's this?"

She looked at Ash, who seemed unable to make sense of the situation. "My name is Kanon—the real Kanon. She's Latias, the Infinity Pokémon."

Smiling, Kanon pointed at Latios, who was apologizing to Pikachu. "He's Latios, Latias's older brother. He's an Infinity Pokémon too."

"Huh?!"

Although Ash had already suspected as much, he still found Kanon's words hard to believe. "Latias? A Pokémon?"

"Yes, Ash! I hope you won't tell anyone about this place. It's a secret our family has protected for generations."

Ben Gray walked over with his hands behind his back and made an earnest request. "Please. We don't want anyone disturbing Latias and Latias's lives."

Ash immediately understood what Ben Gray meant and answered frankly, "I understand, Mr. Ben Gray. I promise."

Relieved, Ben Gray smiled and nodded. He watched Latias pull Ash away to play and said nothing more.
