"Lines?"

Jessie's eyes lit up. "O wind! O earth! O sky! ..."

Halfway through, she exchanged a glance with Meowth. "Earth!!"

"Right! Earth is Team Rocket's foundation, where we began! Starting from the beginning—that's Team Rocket!"

James snapped his eyes open and tossed his short blue hair. "Let's go!"

With that, he rushed out.

"James feels different today..."

Meowth and Jessie exchanged a knowing look, then grinned together. "What a great feeling!!"

A wind chime rang in the courtyard.

Latias and Latios, who had been nestled together and were about to fall asleep, woke at the sudden sound.

"Woo..."

Latias called out groggily, then saw her older brother, Latios, shake his head gravely and signal for her to turn invisible.

"Shaa!"

Latios swiftly vanished into thin air.

"Woo!"

Latias vanished from the tree as well.

At the same time, Ben Gray opened his eyes inside the garden hall. "So they've come after all?!"

He immediately pushed a lever beside him. With a bang, something resembling a control console rose from the floor. Red and blue patterns covered it, giving it a mysterious appearance.

He took a cube from his coat, half red and half blue, and set it on the console.

Hum!

A strange vibration slowly built—or rather, some power was awakening once more. The red-and-blue cube gradually rose into the air.

Boom!

The pitch-dark hall lit up in an instant. On closer inspection, it was empty apart from murals of the Infinity Pokémon carved into its walls.

Strangely, a faint glow emerged from the murals, as though bringing them to life.

There was nothing else of note in the Secret Garden. All it held was the power the two Infinity Pokémon outside had inherited from their parents when they disappeared. Yet that power alone was enough to face anything.
