Soul Crystal and the Revival Ritual

"Hey! Is this really the time to talk about that?"

Ash pointed at Latios in the red light. "Let's get Latios out first."

Rossi glanced at Latios. "Don't worry. We're acting in the spirit of True King Lester. We wouldn't hurt him. We only need a trace of his existence."

He looked at Dian. "Mr. Dian, barring any surprises, we'll see each other again soon. Very soon."

Rossi cast one last glance at Latios in the red light. The life drained from his eyes, and he passed out.

The red light behind Latios slowly drew a dark crimson crystal from his body and absorbed it into the red orb above.

"Ugh..."

As the red light faded, Latios gradually regained consciousness, though he looked drained.

Even so, he forced himself to use Dream Projection.

Blue light flashed, and the scene before everyone's eyes shifted to another viewpoint.

A towering spire. A biting wind. An ancient altar.

Dian looked up. A blue orb hung above the Altar, with a dark blue crystal clearly visible inside it.

A streak of red light shot in from the distance. It was the red orb, containing the mysterious crystal taken from Latios.

"Begin."

Laika spoke quietly, though it was unclear whom she was addressing. "Once this is done, every sin committed by our clan and the Blue Sky Country will be repaid. So please, watch over us once more, Latios! Latias!"

With that, she placed the Pokémon Egg Hatching Device in the middle of the ancient Altar.
