Evolution

"Wai!"

Wailmer had taken a Fighting-type Focus Blast head-on, but it still looked full of energy. Given its size, it was probably close to evolving.

It happily flapped its blue fins in midair, hurting but loving every moment.

Then it blinked and realized it was plummeting again. It desperately flapped its huge fins, hoping not to fall back down. Unfortunately, it couldn't fly, and it dropped right back the way it had come.

Aggron kept its eyes fixed on the enormous object falling at high speed. Wailmer was already tremendously heavy, and a fall from that height would hit with force comparable to an Earthquake. Timing was everything.

Excitement surged through Aggron. This was what it wanted: battle after battle, until it grew strong enough to find that Probopass and settle the score!

"Wai!!"

Wailmer squeezed its eyes shut as it plunged, hoping for a miracle. It didn't want to spend its life on the beach. An occasional visit was fine, but the sea was where it belonged.

Aggron's black tail drew taut, silver light rippling along it as it focused on the right moment to strike.
