Mauville City, where past met present.

The Mauville City of old had been a city of steel. Now it was a garden city, a symbol of harmony between people and nature.

A strangely shaped tower stood at the city's center: Prism Tower, as famous as the glittering crystal tower in Lumiose City of the Kalos Region.

Crowds of tourists gathered beneath it, taking souvenir photos.

Mauville City was also a renowned tourist destination and a highlight of urban planning in the Hoenn Region. What was more, Glacia of the Elite Four often appeared here, drawing plenty of visitors hoping to catch a glimpse of her.

Dian looked over the list of ingredients in his hand. He planned to buy what he needed to make Pokéblocks, then visit the Pokémon Center before setting out for the Hoenn Great Desert the next day.

"Hey, isn't that the Mauville Mixed Noodles place Glacia likes to eat at?"

"Must be. Look at the sign."

Before they knew it, Dian and Yue Jifei had wandered into the food plaza in southeastern Mauville City.

To Dian's left stood an extravagantly decorated noodle shop. There were plenty of places nearby serving mixed noodles, but when people said Mauville Mixed Noodles, they meant the one that had captivated Glacia of the Elite Four.

Of course, whether the shop's sales came from her fame or the quality of its noodles was hard to say.
