Dian nodded, then seized the chance to give Jigglypuff a look that said, Get out of here, quick.

Jigglypuff was a standout among its kind, wise enough to know when to retreat. It immediately returned a meaningful look, then scurried off with its round pink body wobbling. Presumably, though, it had only gone into hiding and wouldn't actually disappear.

Instead, the Eevee in Dian's arms yawned, stretched, and hopped onto the sand, apparently preparing to leave.

"Wait, take this."

He took out a bag of Pokéblocks and offered it over. "Come back when you're tired."

"Vee?"

Eevee's dark eyes darted around. Then it picked up the bag in its mouth and bounded nimbly away into the distance.

"Huh~ This Eevee really has a..."

Dian smiled and prepared to set off to escort Her Highness home. While he was there, he could also look for local specialties to send to the people he owed favors.

Most importantly, he needed to get into the good graces of the esteemed Nurse Joy, Lisa, so she would check whether anything was wrong with his Pupitar's data.

In truth, Trainers at his level generally had to keep their own data and their Pokémon's data under tight wraps. If it leaked, someone with ulterior motives could very well exploit it.
