"Dian! Where's our child?"
Fennel clutched the hem of her clothes, pacing in panic. "She was only just born, and she doesn't know her surroundings yet. What if she runs into someone bad?!"
She actually began to sob. "And there are so many fierce Pokémon out there."
"Professor!"
Dian hurried to soothe her. "It's all right."
"Even if you say that, she's too gentle, and she has no sense of caution at all. Anyone could just lead her away."
A string of disastrous scenes immediately flashed through Fennel's mind. She held her head, feeling weak all over. "Ah, that's right! A bodyguard! She needs a bodyguard!"
She began seriously pondering the matter.
"Fennel!"
Left with no other choice, Dian called her by name, then sighed. "Amaura just went for a walk nearby. Besides, there aren't any of those dangerous creatures you're imagining around here."
"A walk?"
Fennel blinked, then spotted a pale blue figure beyond Dian.
She immediately ran over and hugged her tightly around the neck. "Lulu, where did you go? Are you all right?"
"Roo?"
The pale blue Pokémon, resembling a small Western dragon, blinked her large azure eyes in confusion. The gorgeous, colorful soft crests on her head shimmered, looking exceptionally beautiful.
She gently nuzzled Fennel's neck. "Roo, roo!"
Amaura comforted Fennel instead. Their roles seemed reversed: Fennel felt more like a newborn baby, while Amaura was more like a calm mother.
"Lulu, how are you feeling today?"
Dian sighed, then walked over and stroked her head.
Cold. That was his first impression, and this was with Amaura deliberately controlling her temperature. Otherwise, the chill radiating from her body would have made her impossible to touch.

Amaura gave a happy cry, then nuzzled Dian's neck.
