Two sharp smacks rang out, and the soaking-wet Ralts and Mawile looked at Dian unhappily.
"Ral..."
Ralts touched the green hair on its head. "Ralts, wet, hate it."
Hearing the soft little voice in his mind, Dian tossed the water ball in his hand. "One Daifuku for every ball you dodge?"
"Daifuku!!"
A brilliant sparkle.
Beneath the green hair, a pair of dewy, ruby-red eyes suddenly lit up.
"Ralts, want to play!"
Ralts immediately nodded, then apparently thought of something, covered its cheeks, and blissfully closed its eyes. "Easy, lots, Daifuku."

Dian clapped his hands, then glanced at the once-again-soaked Ralts. The innocent little baby had seriously underestimated its Trainer's throwing skills.
Having successfully stirred Ralts's enthusiasm for training, he tempted the Mawile beside it. "Mawile, every time you dodge one, I'll lift you up high."
"Chi-maw?!"
Mawile immediately looked over expectantly, then considered it for a moment and nodded rapidly.
Of course, this game of dodgeball had boundaries. Otherwise, Ralts could simply disappear with a single Teleport.
Using a special marker, Dian drew two circles roughly three meters across beneath the two Pokémon's feet, defining the area in which they could dodge.
He also imposed restrictions on their moves. Ralts could only use each move once, and its next move had to be one it had not used yet. Repeating a move counted as a loss.
Mawile, meanwhile, could only use Fairy Wind and Magnetic Levitation. All other moves were forbidden, and neither Fairy Wind nor Magnetic Levitation could be used on anything other than itself.
