Zeus rose from his throne in surprise. "What's going on?"
"Fill in the Aegean Sea and capture Zeus!"
"Trample Mount Olympus and seize Hera!"
Roland raised two great banners and led the charge.
"Those are pretty creative slogans," Batman remarked.
"Not bad, right?"
"Very much your style." Batman nodded. "I never thought I'd storm Mount Olympus with anyone and fight the Greek gods."
"Same here. Though honestly, back when I read Greek mythology, I really wanted to punch Zeus," The Flash said. "Poseidon, too."
"Hey, I'm right here!" Aquaman protested.
"I've wanted to ask this for a while, but never had the chance. What's your relationship with Poseidon, exactly?" The Flash asked curiously.
"Poseidon was friends with Arion, Atlantis's greatest mage. They studied an incredibly powerful life force together," Aquaman explained. "That force allowed life to flourish on Earth, and it connects all living things. I have that power too, except I can only connect with marine life."
"Amazing. I'll go a little easier on Poseidon when I fight him, then," Superman said.
"No need. Poseidon has been missing for who knows how long. I don't think we'll run into him," Wonder Woman said, driving her chariot up the mountain.
"I never thought I'd come here one day," the red-eyed, white-haired Hawk Angel Zauriel remarked. As a Hawk Angel who served God, he had been forbidden from setting foot in the Temple of Olympus. But now that he had been cast down to the mortal world, he no longer cared about that.
"Right, angels aren't supposed to enter other gods' territory, are they?" Batman asked. "I've heard of that rule."
"I'm no longer an angel." Zauriel sighed.
"But you're not a fallen angel, either... Who are you?" Jeanne d'Arc turned to look at Zauriel.
"Jeanne? What are you doing here?"
