"You can't enter this world. You should leave," Doctor Manhattan told Barbatos.
"Who are you?"
"That's none of your concern."
"Why are you chatting with him? If you've got time, can't you help hold him off?" Roland kept pouring Holy Relics into the doorway. "Or you could just blow him away."
"Our agreement didn't include me holding him off, did it?" Doctor Manhattan said. "I'm already lending you a hand. What more do you expect?"
"You used to be a superhero, at least. Shouldn't you fight someone this evil?"
"You said it yourself: I used to be." Doctor Manhattan sounded unconcerned. "I haven't been a superhero for a long time."
"Come on, Old Blue. That's no fun." Roland pursed his lips.
"Again!" Barbatos forced his way in. Ignoring the burns the Holy Relics inflicted on his body, he lunged at Roland.
"Can't let you in." Roland stopped what he was doing. Red Runes spread across his body, surging Magic filled him, and another pair of eyes grew on his face.
"Demon Trigon?" Barbatos froze. "It's you!"
"I'm just borrowing some of Demon Trigon's power. No need to be so surprised." Four red beams shot from Roland's eyes and slammed into Barbatos.
"It's only a fraction of Demon Trigon's power. Don't get so cocky." Barbatos gritted his teeth. Countless bats flew from his body and surrounded Roland.
