"When I was a little girl, I really wanted to become a superhero," Kate said, beginning her story.
"Same here." Barbara nodded. "Who was your favorite superhero back then? Batman?"
"No way. Superman, of course," Kate said. "I used to have a pair of Superman pajamas I absolutely loved."
"Same here," Nightwing said with a grin as he eavesdropped nearby.
"Tch." Batman curled his lip as he listened in on Nightwing from the Batcave.
"Master Bruce, isn't Superman your favorite superhero as well?" Alfred approached, pushing a trolley laden with English afternoon tea.
"Of course not." Batman picked up his tea and took a sip. "To think Barbara is becoming Batgirl too. That really brings back memories—I still remember when Kate first became Batgirl."
"You put together a Batwoman Investigation Report to support your theory that Kate Kane was Batwoman," Alfred said. "She was fighting the cultists of the Religion of Crime at the time. Back then, the Religion of Crime was still led by an acolyte called Sister Shad."
