"I'll tell you about that in a minute." Superman's expression stiffened.
"What? You really have one?" Lois exclaimed. "Who did you have a son with?"
"Take a guess. A: Lana Lang. B: Bruce Wayne. C: Lex Luthor." Roland gently coaxed Lois along.
"Whoa, that's juicy!" The Flash exclaimed.
"Why am I on that list?" Batman froze.
"Hmm..." Lois frowned and began thinking it over carefully.
"Why are you actually thinking about it?" Batman pursed his lips.
"You two should head back to Gotham City." Superman felt a headache coming on. "And Barry, could you go home for now too?"
"Fine." The Flash spread his hands. "See you."
"We came all the way to Metropolis and chased you halfway across the city, and now you're sending us away without even buying us a meal?" Roland asked. "Does that seem right to you?"
"Exactly." Batman nodded. It would be a shame to leave without getting the whole story.
"You two—"
"I'll call Kara in a bit and have her come over too. We can have a nice family gathering," Roland said. "Great, that's settled. Finish talking to Lois first. We'll wait right here."
"That's right. Go on, everyone's waiting." Lois's face was expressionless.
"Luthor used my genes to create a Kryptonian. Genetically, he's my son—"
"So you're his genetic father," Roland concluded.
"Oh, I see. You mean Superboy, the one who's been out helping people a lot lately." Lois's expression softened considerably. "Why didn't you just say so? Why get so nervous?"
"It's all Roland's fault. He's the one who led me astray." Superman shifted the blame onto Roland.
"Are you back to normal now?" Kara arrived after cleaning up Superman's mess.
"Yes. Sorry for the trouble."
"It's fine. We're family." Kara patted Superman's head.
"You two are so close," Lois said
