Following the wildly flailing tentacle, an enormous oval head, soft and floppy as jelly, emerged from behind the partition.
It had eyes the size of lanterns, and its entire body was white, yet wherever it crawled, it left pitch-black marks on the floor.
White and black, supposedly the two most incompatible colors, coexisted in perfect harmony on the "Chamber Monster."
Watching that flower-shaped mouth full of sharp fangs open and close, Lockhart was so terrified that yellowish-brown liquid streamed out of him.
"No, don't come any closer! Wh-what do you want? I-I can give you anything!"
"Heh heh, I already told you. I want a perfect stone statue. Don't be afraid. It won't hurt, not one bit. Spend a dozen seconds or so inside Amo's belly, and you'll become the most perfect stone statue at Hogwarts."
"During those seconds, your heart will stop beating first. Then your internal organs will rapidly solidify and turn to stone. Before you even have time to savor the beauty of suffocation, your bones, muscles, and blood will all become stone."

After hearing the "Heir's" description, the yellowish-brown liquid flowed even faster. Lockhart looked utterly terrified. He wanted to escape, but his body was as helpless as a paralytic's. He couldn't muster any strength at all.
He bitterly regretted sending Luo Bin away just to save face. Unfortunately, there was no undoing it. Just as that mouth, ringed with row upon row of fangs, was about to touch the tip of his nose, Lockhart let out a strangled sound and... fainted!
Not far away, on the bottom step of the staircase, Luo Bin
