She Qingqing was a snake that had gained sentience, Zhu Xianxian was a spider, and then there was the Landlady... *Wait.* Chen Feng paused. "Hold on. What kind of creature was the Landlady before she gained sentience?" Then he smacked his forehead. "Oh, humans are animals too. Never mind." The final letter, D, stood for Demon: higher-dimensional predators from Subspace or other worlds that fed on the souls and negative emotions of intelligent life. "Fuck. As the memories played, Chen Feng soon learned that before his death, Liu Xiaohu had been investigating a Phantasm zone called Horror Amusement Park. He had broken a rule and died there.
