The man in the smiling mask got straight to the point. "I am Protector Eye-Seeing-Joy. Congratulations on passing the Trial of Greed and proving your devotion. You now have two choices. First, go back down the mountain and continue the trials. Second, stay and work for me."

Yellow Hair's mother dropped to her knees with a thud. "My lord, I choose to continue the trials."

"Then go down the mountain."

After watching Yellow Hair's mother leave, Joy at a Glance turned to the four of them. "So, you're staying to work for me?"

Chen Feng glanced at the Golden Men statues packed all around them and nodded. "Yes."

"Then follow me."

Led by Joy at a Glance, they entered the Main Hall.

The smell of copper hit them—or rather, the smell of money.

Like the outside, the palace interior glittered with gold and jade. Cash, jewels, and Golden Men were piled everywhere.

Yellow Hair whispered, "Brother Feng, aren't we here to fight the boss?"

Chen Feng asked, "What kind of boss do you think he is?"

Yellow Hair looked around. "With this many minions, probably a summoner."

Chen Feng prompted him. "And how do you usually fight a summoner boss?"

"Stop it from summoning, of course, then wipe out all its summons first... Oh, Brother Feng, I get it."

Gamers caught on fast.

If he wanted to deal with this Protector, he would have to find a way to get rid of these troublesome Little Golden Men first, just as he had secretly taken out the Imposter orderlies when dealing with the Rabbit-Faced Nurse.
