Background / History

Itachi carried out the Uchiha clan massacre with Obito’s assistance. Eight-year-old Sahiro found their parents dead and saw Itachi approach him with a blade, but escaped into a newly acquired Kamui dimension 1. Itachi later told Danzō that he had destroyed the clan, become a rogue ninja, and joined Akatsuki as a Konoha spy in exchange for protection for his younger brothers, Sasuke and Sahiro 17.

After Root twice attacked Sahiro, Itachi entered Danzō’s underground base and confronted him. He warned that if either brother died, he would return and destroy everything Danzō personally protected 17. Outside Konoha, Sahiro intercepted Itachi and Kisame. Itachi stopped Kisame’s unsuccessful attacks on Sahiro, acknowledged that Sahiro had grown stronger, and left without further discussion 17 18.

Appearance

Itachi is seen wearing Akatsuki’s black cloak patterned with red clouds 17.

Personality

Itachi speaks softly and keeps his expression controlled, even while threatening Danzō. He remains emotionally distant when Sahiro approaches him, yet his warning to Danzō makes his commitment to both younger brothers explicit 17 18.
