Background and History

Qin Hao grows up in Tianshui City as the Qin family’s celebrated martial prodigy. He discovers the Supreme Sword Tower and deliberately lowers his martial soul’s grade to learn its Great Dao Spirit-Seizing Art. When a Myriad Phenomena Hall envoy tests him, the public sees only a First-Grade Martial Soul. Liu Ruoxue rejects him, and the Qin family strips him of his young-master title in favor of Qin Fang. Qin Hao resolves to enter the Hall through its Genius Tournament instead, then wins first place 1 3 37.

At the Hall, he advances from the Outer Hall to the Inner Hall and develops his swordsmanship at the Sword Monument. He also returns to Tianshui City when the Liu family, backed by Lei Zhen, seizes Qin property and drives out his family. Qin Hao defeats the Liu family’s defenders and orders the Qin to reclaim their property 114 142 146 208.

His search for his mother, Qi Yuelan, takes him to the Northern Yan Dynasty. There he learns that the Shadow Guard has imprisoned his father, Qin Yuntian, and assaults its headquarters to rescue him. Qin Hao later reunites his parents, provides resources and protection for the Qin family, and continues toward greater realms 304 308 318 431.

Qin Hao eventually joins the Azure Flame Sect. He wins first place in its Grand Tournament and later refuses a lucrative offer to defect to the Myriad Seas Heavenly Palace. After reaching Eight-Tribulation Sovereign and defeating two Nine-Tribulation Great Dao Sovereigns, he becomes the Dao Alliance’s fourteenth Deputy Alliance Leader under the title Sword Martial Sovereign 1514 1341 1342 2186 2191.

Appearance

Qin Hao appears young even after attaining high cultivation. His clothing varies, but his sharp gaze and composed bearing are repeatedly remarked upon 673 1016 2052.

• Initially seen as a brocade-clad youth; later wears the blue-green robes of a Myriad Phenomena Hall disciple 1 175.
• Described as having an upright bearing and resolute eyes with the edge of an unsheathed sword 673.

Personality

Qin Hao is ambitious but willing to sacrifice immediate recognition for long-term growth. He spends years weakening his apparent talent to pursue the Supreme Sword Tower’s technique, then repeatedly uses difficult fights as opportunities to study and refine his abilities 1 974 1032.

He is fiercely protective of family and friends, yet distinguishes hostile enemies from respectful opponents. He risks himself to rescue his parents and Mu Ziqing, orders an investigation when Qin descendants abuse their standing, and spares Xing Shijie during a friendly exchange 308 399 2087 1338. His loyalty also shapes his affiliations: he declines better rewards rather than abandon the Azure Flame Sect after it supported him 1341 1342.

• Studies the Sword Monument and the Nine Swords of the Azure Lotus, developing Sword Force and eventually grasping a trace of Sword Intent 114 129.
• Forms a Wind-Rain Sword Domain and later a Destruction Sword Domain by fusing three domains. His First-Order Wind-Rain Sword Domain weakens attacks within it 491 571 648.
