Uchiha Yin's earlier hunch had been right. In the Hokage Office, Hiruzen Sarutobi leaned both hands on his desk. A transparent crystal ball sat before him.

The image in the crystal ball showed Kushina Uzumaki introducing herself at that very moment.

The Telescope Technique could pick up not only images from the scene, but sound as well. (I don't know if it can actually pick up sound, but as the author, I'm saying it can.)

"Hey, old man, you called me here just to watch a new student introduce herself?"

The blonde beauty standing before him spoke with a hint of displeasure.

The young woman's pale-blonde ponytail stirred in the breeze.

Most striking was the purple diamond-shaped mark on her forehead. It gave her a beauty all its own and drew the eye like an abyss.

She wore a loose green coat, but it could not hide her stunning figure. Her ample breasts seemed ready to burst free beneath it.

Her eyes were heavy with sleep, and she yawned. Even so, she carried an air of authority that was far from off-putting; it made people want to trust her.

Tsunade had just returned from a mission. She had been about to go home and sleep in when Hiruzen Sarutobi dragged her to the Hokage Office, leaving her thoroughly annoyed.

"Tsunade, don't be impatient. This new student is Kushina Uzumaki. She's from the Uzumaki Clan in the Land of Whirlpools, and she's a relative of Lady Mito. She's already moved into your home."

"She'll be the next Nine-Tails Jinchuriki."

"I hope you'll train her well so she can become a capable Jinchūriki."

"I'm counting on you."

Hiruzen Sarutobi spoke with grave sincerity.

"Got it, old man. If she's Grandma Mito's relative, I'll make sure she gets proper training."

Tsunade sensed how serious Hiruzen Sarutobi was. Her formerly indifferent expression turned solemn.

"Good. Now, let's watch the rest of her introduction..."

Before Hiruzen Sarutobi could finish, a startling scene appeared in the crystal ball. His eyes widened despite himself.

"My name is Kushina Uzumaki, and my goal is..."

Kushina Uzumaki looked as though she had decided to throw caution to the wind. She shouted the rest of her introduction.

"...My goal is to become Uchiha Yin's wife!"

What was going on? What had happened? How did Kushina Uzumaki know someone from the Uchiha Clan? Was it love at first sight?

This was completely beyond Hiruzen Sarutobi's expectations!
