Uchiha Yin wanted to get angry, but the earnest look on Kushina Uzumaki's face made it impossible.

As her fierce punch came at him, he calmly placed his palm in its path.

"Isn't Uchiha Yin being a little too cocky? Kushina Uzumaki sent her last opponent flying with one punch."

"Yeah. Maybe he can't even react in time. Kushina Uzumaki is the Red Hot-Blooded Habanero—a monster."

"Uchiha Yin's grades are usually so bad. He probably made it to the final four through sheer luck."

The students around them murmured, already mourning Uchiha Yin's defeat.

Smack!

Uchiha Yin easily stopped Kushina Uzumaki's fist. His expression did not change in the slightest.

"I misjudged him."

Interest lit up Orochimaru's eyes. Excited, he stuck out his tongue and licked the corner of his mouth.

Chapter 26: I Get It

When Uchiha Yin caught Kushina Uzumaki's punch so easily, his classmates looked on in disbelief.

Those who had lost to a single punch from her stared with their eyes wide open.

"Incredible. Has Uchiha Yin always been this strong? Was he only pretending to be weak before?"

The same thought flashed through everyone's minds.

When her first strike failed, Kushina tried to pull back her fist and attack again.

Only then did she realize Uchiha Yin had her fist in a firm grip. She could not budge.

He's so strong!

As a member of the Uzumaki Clan, Kushina Uzumaki was blessed with an abundant supply of chakra.

Even crudely coating her body with chakra gave her attacks a significant boost in strength and speed.

But when her fist met Uchiha Yin's hand, it was like a stone sinking into the sea. He did not react at all.

She could not even pull her fist free.

Kushina Uzumaki did not lose heart. If she could not wrench her hand from his grip, she would use it instead. Grabbing Uchiha Yin's hand, she used their opposing strength to spring into the air and swept her left leg at him.

Uchiha Yin caught on to her move. Just as his left hand held hers fast, his right hand caught her leg, leaving her unable to move.

Kushina Uzumaki might have been strong for her age, but she was no match for Uchiha Yin.

He outclassed her in strength, speed, and fighting skill.

The only thing Uchiha Yin lacked was a wider range of ninjutsu. Otherwise, even an ordinary Chunin would likely pose no problem for him.

That was why he could handle Kushina Uzumaki's all-out attack so easily.

Uchiha Yin could have kept hiding his strength as he had before, then lost a hard-fought match or narrowly beaten Kushina Uzumaki. But now that he had drawn attention, he did not believe Tsunade and the others would fail to notice him holding back.

If they were going to find out anyway, there was no point in hiding his strength.
