"Yin, you're Tsunade's apprentice now too. You'll have to call me Senior Sister from now on."

Kushina Uzumaki smiled as she spoke to Uchiha Yin.

Chapter 30: Word Spreads Among the Higher-Ups

As expected, the system's voice rang out in Uchiha Yin's mind again.

Monster Strength Taijutsu was a form of Taijutsu in which a Ninja with precise Chakra control concentrated Chakra in any part of the body, then burned it rapidly to unleash an explosive burst of power. It was also Tsunade's specialty.

Uchiha Yin had never imagined that simply nodding and accepting Tsunade as his teacher would let him learn her best attack technique.

The principle behind Monster Strength Fist seemed simple, but it demanded extremely precise Chakra control. Otherwise, it was all too easy to injure yourself before you ever hurt your opponent.

Yet Uchiha Yin had learned it just like that.

It made him look forward to the system's rewards even more.

He had learned the Uzumaki Clan's Sealing Jutsu beside Kushina and Monster Strength Fist beside Tsunade. Would he awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan automatically when he was beside Uchiha Mikoto?

As for why he had agreed to become Tsunade's apprentice, Uchiha Yin had his own reasons.

He would never have agreed simply because Tsunade had threatened him.

Her threat had been frightening, but he knew she would not attack him without cause.

So rather than a threat, Tsunade had given Uchiha Yin a way to back down gracefully.

Now that he had drawn attention, rejecting Tsunade would certainly make him a target of Hiruzen Sarutobi.

Becoming her apprentice, on the other hand, offered him plenty of benefits. More importantly, because Tsunade had given him a reason to accept, the Uchiha Clan could hardly hold it against him.

If he had agreed without hesitation, the Uchiha Clan might have decided he was another Kagami Uchiha and grown dissatisfied with him.

Even Tsunade might have suspected that the Uchiha Clan had already summoned him for a talk.

That was why Uchiha Yin had agreed only after Tsunade threatened him.

The Uchiha Clan and the Hokage Lineage were manageable. Whatever they thought of Uchiha Yin, neither would do anything too extreme. The real trouble was Danzo.

Given Danzo's ruthless, unscrupulous nature, Uchiha Yin genuinely feared he might strike at him from the shadows.

And Hiruzen Sarutobi was the only one who could restrain Danzo, if only somewhat.

Becoming Tsunade's apprentice brought him nothing but benefits. That was why Uchiha Yin had agreed so readily.

Besides, he would no longer have to work so hard to keep up appearances in front of everyone.
