Naruto: They Have Systems

Danzo mocked Hiruzen Sarutobi in his mind, his face dark as he said nothing.

"Danzo, that settles it. Recall your people from Root, or don't blame me for what happens next."

Hiruzen Sarutobi's tone left no room for argument.

Danzo's expression grew uglier at Hiruzen Sarutobi's words.

"Fine. I hope you won't regret this, Third Hokage."

Danzo stormed off, leaving Hiruzen Sarutobi smoking where he stood.

"Uchiha Yin, I hope you won't disappoint me." Hiruzen Sarutobi sighed and spoke under his breath.

Ding! Congratulations to the host for completing the emergency mission. Reward: +3 proficiency in Shape Transformation for Water and Earth Dual-Nature Chakra.

After the practical combat class ended, Tsunade left satisfied. Soon afterward, she received the system notification and immediately guessed that her teacher had warned Danzo, making him abandon the idea of sending someone to follow Uchiha Yin.

Tsunade felt her grasp of Chakra Shape Transformation improve another notch, and excitement stirred in her.

Everyone had strengths and weaknesses. Although Tsunade possessed both water-nature and earth-nature Chakra, she was not skilled at using Ninjutsu of either nature. Her strength lay in the Monster Strength Fist.

Now that she had received the system's reward, Tsunade could feel that her Earth Release and Water Release techniques had grown significantly more powerful.

She had rarely used those techniques before because they had never been particularly effective in her hands. The Monster Strength Fist was simpler and hit harder. Now things were different: Ninjutsu could make up for her lack of wide-area and mid-to-long-range attacks.

Of course, Tsunade would not give up Monster Strength Taijutsu. It was what she did best.

Meanwhile, the Ninja Academy let out after that practical combat class.

The Ninja Academy was different from the school Uchiha Yin had attended in his previous life. After morning classes, students had only a short break to eat and rest before afternoon lessons began.

That left no time for a midday nap, but classes ended early in the afternoon.

During that short lunch break, Ninja Academy students generally did not go home. They either brought lunch to school, ate in the cafeteria, or went to a snack shop outside.

Uchiha Yin usually ate at one of the snack shops.

Just as Uchiha Yin was about to head out for food, Kushina stopped him.

"Kushina, what is it?"

Uchiha Yin asked, puzzled.

"Call me Senior Sister," Kushina Uzumaki said.

"You didn't stop me just for something that pointless, did you? I'm going out for lunch." Uchiha Yin changed the subject without hesitation.

"That's what I was about to say. I made lunch today and accidentally made an extra portion. Want to eat together?" At his words, Kushina gave Uchiha Yin a bright smile.

"You cooked it? Is it edible?" Doubt showed on Uchiha Yin's face.

In his previous life, Uchiha Yin had read plenty of Naruto fanfiction in which Kushina's cooking was downright disastrous. So he had asked the question on instinct.

Displeasure flashed across Kushina Uzumaki's face, and she pouted.

"Yin, you actually doubt my cooking? Just wait. It'll be so good you won't be able to stop eating."
