That meant that when Psykos activated her Supergravity Net, the Young Man had been under a tremendous physical load—enough to drive his feet straight through the ground.
But he used his own Psychic Powers to break free of the Gravity Net.
Psykos knew that within the Absolute Domain she had created, she was not the only one who could alter its physical laws. If her opponent had the same ability, he could fight back.
What she could not figure out was how the Young Man had overcome the Gravity Net.
Once Crash Boy rose into the air, a fierce golden light flashed in his eyes. He reached out and grasped at Psykos from a distance.
She was several yards away, yet the moment the Young Man extended his hand, Psykos was shocked to find herself flying toward him against her will.
That terrifying pull was clearly something other than gravity!
Psykos was an exceptional scientist. She immediately realized that if this force could be explained by physics, it had to be Magnetism.
That made everything fall into place.
The Young Man had escaped the Gravity Net by using a Magnetic Field to interfere with the Gravity Field Psykos had created.
Gravity was, at its root, universal attraction. Universal attraction and Magnetism were entirely different forces, so a Magnetic Field could not change a Gravity Field. It could, however, affect one.
A Magnetic Field could weaken or amplify a Gravity Field's effects. Used correctly, it could even cancel them out entirely.
If the Young Man could truly control Magnetism, his talent was nothing short of monstrous.
Yet when Psykos was pulled to within a meter of the Young Man, she abruptly stopped.
The Young Man's hand touched a silvery-white barrier.
It enclosed Psykos completely. Not only could Crash Boy's hand not
