"What is this child's name?"
"His name is Ryan."
Inside the detached Villa, two women looked at the baby in the stroller.
One of the women looked at Ryan with eyes full of maternal love, and she softly called out that name.
As a mother.
In comparison, the woman standing beside her was much more indifferent.
Her speech was also like assigning a task.
"Starting today, the two of you will stay here."
"You want us to stay here?"
"Mn, don't go anywhere. I will hide you away, to avoid that person."
The woman left her spot and pushed open the villa's window. Outside was a clear sky.
In the sky was the sound of spinning propellers; that was a helicopter.
It was her mode of transport.
The helicopter was not far from the ground. From the perspective of the aircraft's pilot, the surrounding area was a lush green forest.
At the edge of the forest was a perimeter wall.
The wall stretched on endlessly, enveloping this patch of land, enveloping this small villa.
Ryan's mother also looked out the villa's window, the sunlight warmly spilling across the windowsill.
"This place is just like a prison imprisoning the two of us, mother and son."
"That sounds harsh. It's merely a temporary residence. Here, you don't need to worry about any troublesome matters."
Saying these words, the woman lingered no longer and left the room.
Only the people in the room remained.
She lied; this was not a temporary residence, provided that person did not find them.
Underneath this narrow patch of sky was where Ryan's mother would live, age, fall ill, and die.
Fated to forever remain in one place, a caged bird gazing up at the blue sky.
However, the cage was large, and the bird would not lack water or food.
After the woman left, Ryan's mother blankly looked outside the villa. The scenery never changed, and this was a place where only flying birds could cross the wall to set foot.
It also brought her an incomparable sense of relief.
I'm going to live here from now on.
Thinking this in her heart, she failed to notice the little fellow inside the stroller.
Ryan.
He forcefully rolled his body over and blinked his eyes twice.
His face wore a confusion entirely unbefitting an infant.
I've transmigrated.
Reviewing the past, he was supposed to return to work after the holiday. That night, staying in a cheap rented apartment, he drank milk while watching an episode of The Boys.
As he watched, thoughts inevitably arose.
I want to do whatever I want, just like Homelander.
A thought that appeared out of nowhere left him dazed. The milk in his hand slipped, smashing into the computer power socket on the side.
Amidst a flurry of buzzing sounds, he lost consciousness.
When he opened his eyes again, in a colorful world, it was the scene of two women giving instructions to each other.
It was also from their words that he learned his name.
"Ryan."
It was extremely familiar, and combined with Ryan's mother's appearance, it awakened his memory.
Leading him to deduce one thing.
This is the world of The Boys, and I'm afraid I've transmigrated into Ryan.
He was quite a famous character, and some people in the original work discussed him.
He was the son of the show's ultimate villain (or so the villain thought).
His status was quite formidable, and more importantly, his bloodline.
You must know that The Boys was a world with superpowers.
As the villain's son, Ryan naturally inherited superpowers.
Not weak by any means, one could only say it was hard to find an opponent.
The only problem was just one point.
If it followed the developmental trajectory of the original worldview, next, Ryan would receive his mother's innocent little-white-rabbit style education.
He would turn into someone people didn't even know what to say about.
His superpowers would also go to waste due to a lack of training.
However, the Ryan who transmigrated over was different. He looked at his own tiny hands.
I will grow. Whether it's this body or my superpowers.
