Ryan turned and opened a Portal, then left the room.
Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver followed without hesitation.
The Portal opened beside the doctor who had treated Hawkeye earlier.
The doctor, an ordinary human, stared in surprise at the Portal that had opened beside her. "That was quite a scare."
She even acted as though it had startled her.
Ryan stepped through with Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. He asked the doctor to help him with the Cradle.
As for payment, of course he would pay in money. As a Sorcerer, Ryan had little trouble making money.
The doctor was surprised at first, but after talking with Ryan and finding him easy to deal with, she agreed.
"It would be my honor to help a Supe who once saved the world and drove back alien invaders," she said.
The Chitauri invasion had been recorded for the world to see. Plenty of people knew what had happened and loved discussing Ryan's identity. Ryan had become a living legend in this land.
Ryan knew none of that. He only wanted his body repaired, so he asked the doctor when they could leave.
The doctor said, "Just call me Helen Cho. The Cradle that can repair your body is in Asia. I'll book us flights so we can fly there together."
Even by Ryan's standards, after traveling through multiple worlds and seeing plenty of beautiful women,
Helen Cho was quite beautiful.
But Ryan was face-blind, and with the Doomsday Spores to deal with, he had no interest in women.
As for flights, Ryan said, "No need for all that trouble. Pack your things. We're leaving now."
