Ryan could now feel the Watcher's indifferent gaze. It was only a gaze, though. The Watcher apparently had no intention of interfering.
Above the Magic Circle, Shuma-Gorath was bound by the suction and dragged helplessly toward Ryan. At last, Ryan absorbed him.
Memories from Shuma-Gorath's avatar flooded Ryan's mind. An ancient Dimension Lord, Shuma-Gorath had come to find a vessel for his consciousness, so he could reach the Blue Planet and conquer it.
But he had never expected to be absorbed the moment he arrived.
Even though Ryan had absorbed only an avatar, it was still astonishing.
After all, Shuma-Gorath ranked among the most powerful Dimension Lords.
Absorbing Shuma-Gorath's avatar did not satisfy Ryan. He altered the Magic Circle on the ground to summon something even stranger.
Every being he summoned now could have caused a universe-level crisis. Unfortunately for them, Ryan absorbed them before any crisis could begin.

"Elder God Chthon has arrived. State your wish."
A shadow spread across the entire continent above the Magic Circle. An eerily shaped creature stood on the ground and spoke.
Ryan had read the magic books in the library, so he knew what stood before him.
Chthon was one of Earth's four Elder Gods. He had granted the Scarlet Witch her Chaos Magic and was the source of Black Magic. He was no minor figure.
Ryan welcomed his arrival. "I want you to stay. Stay inside my body."
