Allen kept his eyes on Ryan. The man hadn't introduced himself, which only made Allen more determined to find out who he was. "You barge into someone's home and don't feel the least bit sorry?"

He was speaking to Ryan. Ryan looked back at Allen, taking in the suit with its lightning emblem and the speed with which he had dodged the Batarang.

Ryan could be fairly sure the man before him was the Flash of the DC universe.

The Flash had been struck by lightning during a particle accelerator explosion, gaining the power of super speed.

Information from the comics flashed through Ryan's mind. For some reason, in this workshop-like space, he could feel Allen's intense gaze on him.

Allen was warier of him than he was of Bruce Wayne.

It was baffling. Ryan couldn't understand it.

Bruce Wayne had just thrown a Batarang at Allen, while Ryan hadn't attacked anyone. Yet somehow, Ryan was the one Allen was watching out for.

Ryan met Allen's gaze. "No. Wayne and I are guests. You should be welcoming us."

"Who welcomes guests who break into their home?" Allen was at a loss for words.

Still, Allen could tell from Ryan's tone that he meant no harm, and that let him relax a little.

The small workshop was poorly ventilated. The air was stuffy and full of dust.

Allen paid it no mind. He turned to Wayne, only to find an interested look in his eyes that sent a chill down Allen's spine.

Allen asked what the two of them wanted. Wayne briefly explained the crisis facing the world, then asked about Allen's abilities.

"My abilities?" Allen hesitated before sharing a little. "I can enter another spacetime and draw on the energy
