Zod's voice carried over the city and echoed between the skyscrapers, but no one answered.

Ryan, the one he had called for, was seized by a sudden feeling of weightlessness and pulled into another spacetime.

Just like the last time he had crossed worlds, Ryan looked around. Strange, dazzling sights stretched out on every side.

When the sights stopped unfolding, the weightlessness slowly faded. He blinked and raised his head.
