Ryan finally stopped. With his Steel Body, he could run for as long as he liked without feeling tired.

Seeing Kaecilius catching his breath, Ryan could not help saying, "You need to work out more."

"You... I..."

Kaecilius opened his mouth, but no words came out.

"Okay." Ryan walked over to him. Learning magic was definitely more important than running.

Then Ryan saw Kaecilius take something from his hand that looked like a pair of brass knuckles.

Kaecilius called it a Sling Ring and handed it to Ryan.

Then he began teaching Ryan his first spell.

He explained it carefully. "Ryan, this is a beginner's Magic spell for Sorcerers. We call it a Portal."

Ryan listened closely and followed Kaecilius's instructions.

They were not complicated.

Kaecilius told Ryan to draw a circle in front of himself with his fingers while picturing where he wanted to go.

As he taught, Kaecilius told Ryan to focus and take his time. A Portal might be a basic Magic spell, but it was nothing like drawing magical lines.

The difficulty was on another level.

Students at Kamar-Taj could only draw circles in front of themselves when they first started. They could not open a Portal right away.
