A Note on Going Premium

I typed those four words in the title with a great deal of trepidation. That's right, the book is going premium tonight at midnight, just as the new year begins.

I'm feeling a little conflicted, so I've decided not to post any more chapters this year. I'll post them next year instead (hahahaha).

I'm so grateful to all my readers for your support. Every tip, recommendation vote, bookmark, and chapter comment gives me a burst of motivation. And to those of you who quietly support me, reading and voting without a word—you're pretty adorable (﹡o﹡). Thank you, lovely readers, for keeping me company all this time and, I hope, for a long time to come.

And thank you to my editor, YY Big Shot. I'm new at this. After reading books for so long, I wanted to try writing one myself, so I dove in headfirst. Luckily, I met YY Big Shot, who patiently guided me, helped me see my shortcomings, and showed me how to write more exciting plots. I'm truly grateful to Big Shot.

Tomorrow is New Year's Day, the start of a new year, when everything takes on a fresh look. Doesn't that echo Meng Chuan a little, Ma? Wasn't this destined all along, by some unseen hand, Ma? Everything was fated!

There'll be five updates on launch day: three just after midnight tonight, then the other two tomorrow during the day. After that, it should be three updates a day.
