At that, Yongye slipped into character. His smile vanished, and he threatened Itachi with murderous intensity.

Uchiha Itachi stared at Yongye, fear, anger, and resentment churning in his eyes. And beneath it all was a trace of relief he hadn't even noticed himself.

Itachi froze.
His eyelid twitched, and his brow furrowed before smoothing out again. After a long silence, he spoke.
"Don't tell them either."
"I brought this on myself. If I die by your hand, I deserve it."
"No one else knows I came to kill you."
"Keeping quiet will save you trouble too!"
Yongye curled his lip. The mockery on his face turned to outright disgust, spilling from his mouth, his eyes, every pore.
