A glow of Chakra poured from his palm and seeped into the wounds on the body atop the stone platform.
The flesh around the puncture wounds began to draw back, its ragged edges slowly smoothing out. Fine fibers grew across the torn openings, covering the exposed bone and tissue layer by layer. Skin spread inward from the edges, its fresh pink gradually deepening to a normal tone.
The bullet holes scattered across his limbs and torso closed one by one. As the gray-white light faded, even the last indentations filled in.
In less than half a minute, Yahiko's skin was whole again, without a single scar.
Konan stood at the edge of the platform, looking down at his restored face. Her lips parted slightly, her eyes full of grief.
