Orochimaru lay facedown, coughing blood, but his eyes had already refocused. His golden slit pupils gleamed in the firelight.
Kimimaro sprang from the shadows on the other side. A Bone Spikes shot from his elbow, tracing a brief flash of cold light through the air.
Fugaku sidestepped and turned his right hand, slashing a kunai across Kimimaro's wrist.
Like Orochimaru, Kimimaro had recovered only half his chakra. Uchiha Fugaku easily parried him, and the Bone Spikes struck empty air.
Fugaku pushed him back half a step in the same motion, sending his back into the Iron bars.
