Background and History

Gao Yang protects Xiao Tian when she is young, and the two grow up together. She accompanies him to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, where she becomes known as his pet. Their bond lets him understand her growls, while she responds to his words 2 3 5.

Xiao Tian often acts without being asked. After listening to Gao Yang’s worries about Ning Rongrong, she returns injured with Rongrong’s diary; later, she warns him to destroy it. She also guards Gao Yang’s locked box when Rongrong tries to open it 3 5 6.

During Spirit Hall’s attack on the sect, Xiao Tian fights two Titled Douluo, kills one, and escapes gravely wounded to the Star Dou Great Forest. After recovering, she saves Gao Yang and Rongrong from Light Feather Douluo, defeating him in her arena 14 15 23 24 25.

Xiao Tian continues fighting beside the couple through their conflict with Spirit Hall. She is badly wounded shielding them from Mighty Lion Douluo’s self-destructive attack, then spends two years fleeing and fighting with them. When Bibi Dong’s fatal strike threatens Gao Yang, Rongrong, and their newborn daughter, Xiao Tian uses Soul Sacrifice to save them 40 41.

Appearance

Xiao Tian is a giant black tiger with red eyes. She can also shrink to a kitten-sized form that Gao Yang carries in his arms 23 24 25.

Evil God’s Protection

Evil God Arena

An innate ability that draws Xiao Tian and an opponent into a separate arena, where both return to childhood and fight until only one survives 25 39.

Devouring

Soul Sacrifice

Xiao Tian uses Soul Sacrifice to shield Gao Yang’s family from Bibi Dong’s fatal attack. Her sacrifice grants Gao Yang a 300,000-year ninth Soul Ring and a skull Soul Bone, and transforms his Sword God Domain 41 42.

Relationships

• Gao Yang — Xiao Tian’s lifelong companion. He considers her one of the people dearest to him; she repeatedly risks her life for him and ultimately asks him to become a god and bring her back 2 14 23 42.
• Ning Rongrong — Familiar with Xiao Tian from the sect, though they sometimes compete for Gao Yang’s attention. Xiao Tian helps protect her and her daughter 5 24 41.
