Xiao Xiao turned her head aside. "Hmph... That's what you get for pressing on my hair."

Lin Fan glanced down at her and smiled. "But Xiao Xiao, you looked so cute when you got shy just now!"

Xiao Xiao froze. A faint blush rose to her cheeks, and she twirled a lock of hair around her finger. "Did I?"

A low railing blocked their path. Lin Fan sprinted forward and leaped over it, holding Xiao Xiao tight. He chuckled. "You did!"

Startled, Xiao Xiao cried:

"Slow down! I'm scared!"

Lin Fan looked utterly confident. "Don't worry. I'm steady as can be."

Xiao Xiao was so light that holding her felt rather comfortable.

"Honestly... Slow down..."

Watching Lin Fan run flat out, Xiao Xiao buried her face against his chest. Her voice dwindled to a murmur:

Xu Sanshi heard that they were going to the Infirmary. His eyes lit up, and he smiled wickedly as he watched them flirt.

Lin Fan wiped the sweat from his forehead with his arm, sighed, and said with relief, "All done. I've rubbed the oil all over your feet. They should get better soon."

He had finally finished applying the oil to Xiao Xiao's feet. He was exhausted.

Xiao Xiao glanced at her Boots and spotted them by the foot of the bed.

"I haven't settled the score with you and Wang Dong for tickling me last time."

Xiao Xiao pulled on her little Boots, strode up to Lin Fan, and raised her arm again, swinging her small fist straight at him.

Her fist flew toward Lin Fan's chest with startling speed.
