Then the final thread of the future was revealed.

[A ribbon of iridescent light, a black hole and a white hole devouring each other and tearing the Galaxy apart. That path led to their fiercest enemy, Zephyro.]

[In the script, Amphoreus still had two possible futures: one ending in Destruction, the other in an imperfect future.]

[As for the third future, it was the Amphoreus of the present.]

At the sight of this, nobody could keep a straight face.

"Holy shit, Zephyro again?"

Zephyro had left a deep impression on everyone.

After all, even Phainon, who had slaughtered his way into a frenzy and fought like a god, had been humbled by Zephyro!

And that was while he was in his godly state!

Even that enormous meteorite had failed to take Zephyro down!

Judging by what the Sky Curtain meant, Zephyro was probably the strongest general under the Aeon of Destruction. No wonder Phainon had suffered against him!

The Astral Express had been terribly unlucky on this timeline too, running straight into Zephyro.

Even someone strong enough to conjure a black hole with his bare hands ultimately could not beat Zephyro, who could conjure a white hole!

Everyone was also curious about the two possibilities for Amphoreus that the Sky Curtain had left unrevealed.

If Aha had not intervened, and Phainon had not awakened the will of those people...

What would have become of Amphoreus in the end?

But that damned Sky Curtain kept everything under wraps instead of explaining, leaving them itching to know.

God King Tang San and the other gods fell silent as they watched the battle on the Sky Curtain.

"Holy shit, are they even human?"

"They're making black holes and white holes with their bare hands!"

"If that triggers a spacetime turbulence, would they even survive?"

Tang San, for one, felt that even the Divine Realm could not withstand a terrifying spacetime turbulence.

The people on the Sky Curtain were utterly reckless. They had no fear of death!

After watching every branch of the future, Yu Xiaogang no longer dared to bluster.

Every one of those enemies was either an Emanator or something even more terrifying.

Without Black Swan, it seemed they really could not have saved that universe.

But he still curled his lip.

"How does that make her history's unluckiest wretch? She's clearly lucky!"

At his words, even the Shrek Seven Devils and Tang Hao, who were standing with him, were left speechless.

The Destruction God King, disguised as a boy in a purple hood and going by Little Purple, found the Sky Curtain hard to stomach.

Coming to Douluo Star had definitely been the right choice.

But then he saw the sign hanging at the entrance to Phainon's Clothing Store, and his heart sank.

It read: All clothing sold out. Closed for the day.

He had not expected the last outfit to be bought too!

And the buyer had looked a lot like Di Tian!

Little Purple grew even more frustrated.

It seemed he would have to find another opportunity.

Inside Phainon's Clothing Store.

After seeing Zephyro, the Stellaron Sprite sighed. "Thank you, great Lady Black Swan!"

The Stellaron Sprite was thoroughly stunned.

Seriously? They had expected Welt to conjure a black hole with his bare hands to fight Zephyro?

She was not belittling Welt.

Zephyro was simply too terrifying.

She asked Phainon gravely, "Partner, between you and Zephyro, who's stronger?"

Everyone turned to look at Phainon at once.

Phainon spread his hands.

"What? You want me to fight Zephyro again? Isn't that asking a bit much?"

He had gained part of Iron Tomb's power!

Now he had gained some power of Elation as well!

But he still fell short of being able to go toe-to-toe with Zephyro.

If his power of Elation reached the level of an Emanator, he might have a chance.

But how could increasing that power be easy?

He would have to pull stunts every day, just like that brat Sparkle.

If I covered all of Douluo Star, including the Douluo Divine Realm, in yellow-and-purple clothes, would that count as pulling a stunt?

And if I brought Aya over to join in, wouldn't I be carrying on the Masked Fools' fine tradition?

Meanwhile, in the Aeon Universe, a mysterious, elegant woman in a veil ordered a special cocktail at a tavern.

She stirred it gently with her straw.

Then a flood of information poured into her mind.

Black Swan was wary at first, thinking someone in the Garden of Recollection had made a move against her.

But once she understood the information, she realized it was most likely a scheme that particular being had devised for amusement.

Black Swan did not know whether to laugh or cry.

She was actually competing for the title of unluckiest wretch against someone called Di Tian from the Douluo Continent.

Am I really that miserable?

Black Swan counted off her misfortunes.

It did seem that she had been having a rough time ever since Penacony.

"So I stepped in!"

At the thought of how confidently she had approached Acheron at first, Black Swan's face reddened with embarrassment.

Then she had gone to Amphoreus, where she had initially caused the Astral Express to be pursued and March 7th to fall into a deep sleep.

Things had been a disaster from the start. She had never expected to save the world through a twist of fate.

At that thought, Black Swan lifted her chin with pride.

Leave it to yours truly to step in!

After seeing those three terrifying future timelines, Black Swan felt confident again!

"The Astral Express can't do without me!"

"The Nameless seem to have gone to Dual-Phase Paradise."

"Maybe I should go take a look?"

The next moment, Black Swan noticed a charm bearing a smiling face on her table.

She murmured,

"I mention Dual-Phase Paradise, and I immediately get a good-luck charm."

"Did that being really give it to me?"

"Should I use it?"

Black Swan hesitated.

She feared she was being played with again. After all, that being loved nothing more than teasing people.

In the end, she steeled herself and kept the charm close, though she did not use it.

That should count as showing that being some respect, right?

So Black Swan thought.

Just then, a bartender came over and said,

"Today is our bar's hundredth anniversary, and you happen to be our hundredth customer. Your order is on the house."

"We've also credited your membership card with one hundred times the amount you spent today. Please check that it's come through."

Black Swan blinked. "Has my luck turned around today?"

It seemed she had misunderstood that being.

Now she really did have to visit Dual-Phase Paradise!

Black Swan savored the thought.

Meanwhile, on the Douluo Continent.

Everyone nearly drooled at the sight of that good-luck charm.

An Aeon representing the Path of Elation had personally made her a good-luck charm!

And Black Swan was not that unlucky anyway.

She had merely encountered several Emanators and beings comparable to them! At least she was still alive!

With that charm in hand, Black Swan's fortunes were sure to soar, weren't they?

Inside Phainon's Clothing Store.

The Stellaron Sprite and Phainon exchanged a glance.

They both silently mourned what lay ahead for Black Swan.

An Aha-made good-luck charm did not sound simple.

That gave Phainon pause. He had received two special rewards from Aha himself: a Mask of Elation and a Ticket.

Could those have catches too?

Could that Ticket be fake?

Phainon looked at the Stellaron Sprite and raised an eyebrow.

"Partner, you're not Aha in disguise, are you?"

Then he tugged at her cheeks.

The Stellaron Sprite felt as if Phainon were kneading her face like dough.

She rolled her eyes.

"I was about to ask if Aha had possessed you!"

The two of them tussled.

Everyone nearby fell silent.

These were the powerhouses capable of fighting Emanators?

Elsewhere.

Di Tian stared at the Sky Curtain in silence.

Was making black holes and white holes with one's bare hands simply standard fare for the strong in the Aeon Universe?

As far as he had known, the Dragon God and his Master stood at the pinnacle.

He had never seen either of them make a black hole with their bare hands!

That made Di Tian watch the extraterrestrial Phainon and Stellaron Sprite even more closely.

He believed their joking was only a facade.

They appeared to be joking, but they were really testing each other!

That must be the caution of the truly strong, Di Tian thought.

Then the Sky Curtain refreshed.

After all, Black Swan had suffered such rotten luck earlier, yet she still got her moment to shine in the end.
