Huang Jinxu was not particularly shocked to learn that the Golden Ancient Tree had long been watching him.

After all, it was an existence comparable to a god. Even while imprisoned, it could easily do things no Soul Master could.

What concerned him was why the Golden Ancient Tree had taken notice of him after his Martial Soul Second Awakening.

"My Martial Soul really is anything but simple, isn't it?"

Huang Jinxu murmured to himself, then pocketed the soul of a Shrek Academy headmaster from some unknown generation.

If he could solve the problem, the souls inhabiting the Golden Ancient Tree would be the key to raising his spiritual power to the divine level.

Once his injuries had healed, Huang Jinxu asked the Golden Ancient Tree a few more questions before leaving the Golden Tree Hollow.

It was time to leave Shrek Academy and head for the Earth Dragon Sect.

Before he went, though, he still needed to visit the Star Dou Great Forest and give Di Tian an explanation.

He also wanted to see whether something unusual had happened deep within the forest.

After putting everything in order, Huang Jinxu left Shrek Academy and Shrek City, heading straight for the Star Dou Great Forest.

As Huang Jinxu departed, another Sea God Pavilion Meeting was convened.

This time, Xuan Zi was the one who called it.

"Haven't these Sea God Pavilion Meetings been happening a little too often lately?"

Divine Eagle Douluo Song Yunzhi looked around at the others, her impatience plain to see.

What had been going on lately? It seemed a Sea God Pavilion Meeting was called at the drop of a hat.
