The Divine Realm.

A range of rolling mountains bordered an endless river that ran straight to a storm-tossed sea.

Many palaces lined the banks of that river reaching toward the heavens. Each was magnificent, clearly the dwelling of a God who held a divine position.

After all, though the Divine Realm had many Gods, most of its inhabitants were not Gods.

At its heart, the Divine Realm was simply a world suffused with divine energy, where spiritual energy was more concentrated.

Relatively speaking, though, the concentration of spiritual energy in the Divine Realm was frighteningly high. Beside it, the concentration in other small worlds was negligible.

In short, the Divine Realm was an ordinary world, only far more powerful. Compared with other worlds, it seemed more like a "realm of Gods."

The Divine Realm had not originally ruled any subordinate small worlds. It had begun as an independent world, much like the other small worlds it now governed.

But even in its earliest state, the Divine Realm had been far stronger than those worlds. At the very least, it could sustain a God King-level powerhouse.

Of course, the other small worlds had been much better off then, too. Before they came under its rule, most could produce powerhouses at the level of a Third-Level God.

Then, by chance, the Dragon God was born.

After reaching the level of a half-God King, the Dragon God could clearly feel that his path ahead was blocked. His mother world—the Divine Realm—could neither nurture a stronger being nor support the birth of one.

So, to break through to a higher level, the Dragon God drew on the power of the Divine Realm Center and set out to conquer and rule every small world.

A mother world was more than the place where a God
