Asura Battles the Sea God (Part Two)

Struck by a brutal sword blow for no reason, the Sea God was furious.

But the Asura God King gave no answer to the Sea God's angry demand.

The Asura God King knew his actions had probably caught the attention of the other four God Kings.

Since they had noticed... all the better.

At first, the Asura God King's opening strike truly had been meant to kill the Sea God.

But after that first strike, much of his rage had faded, and he had regained his senses.

Once he came to his senses, the Asura God King knew the Sea God could not die.

For one thing—and most importantly—that little fellow had not been affected. Killing the Sea God outright would be going too far.

Of course, if anything had happened to that little fellow, the Asura God King, who had already lost two successors in a row, could not guarantee he would refrain from killing the Sea God.

For another, the Sea God was one of the strongest beings beneath the Five Great God Kings.

Losing him would greatly weaken the Divine Realm as a whole.

Fortunately, although Poseidon looked gravely weakened, he had the power of the sea at its peak and a Super Divine Artifact. He recovered fairly quickly and was difficult to kill.

The Asura God King seemed to think of something... Since he had already struck him, he might as well see it through and teach that old fellow Poseidon a lesson.

So the Asura God King gathered boundless killing intent once more, forging it into countless divine chains.

The instant the Asura God King began forming them, the Sea God finally seized his chance.
