"My Fleet has already assembled along Ultramar's border. Apart from the forces needed for defense and the Great Crusade, I've brought the rest of my Legion here," Guilliman said first.
"My Legion is small, but I've brought a large contingent of Mortals auxiliaries, along with their supporting Fleet," Vulkan added.
Once the three had finished speaking, they all turned their eyes to Lorgar.
"Lorgar, how many men did you bring?"
"Well, about that number..."
As he spoke, Lorgar held up three fingers.
"Three hundred? Brother Lorgar, you only need to support me from here on. Your Legion is too small. I'm worried you won't be able to hold the line head-on," Vulkan said, looking at Lorgar with concern.
"Uh, no."
"Three thousand? That should just about suffice."
"As for your Fleet..."
"Actually, I only brought thirty thousand Astartes, along with more than a hundred supporting Imperialis Militia units and over a hundred capital ships belonging to the expeditionary Fleet."
"That's all..."
Perturabo: (||๐_๐)
Vulkan: (꒪⌓꒪)
Guilliman: (´∇ノ`*)ノ
"That's Lorgar for you."
"Making Perturabo speechless without even trying."
Guilliman had long been sick of Perturabo's damned habit of executing one man in eleven.
Lorgar was equally speechless. Guilliman had brought twenty thousand Space Marines, Vulkan several thousand, and Perturabo more than ten thousand legionaries.
His own legionaries accounted for almost half of the expeditionary Fleet's total, something Lorgar had not expected.
"What about Angron?"
Only then did Perturabo notice Angron standing beside Lorgar. Without a closer look, he could easily have mistaken Angron for one of Lorgar's attendants.
Angron glanced at Lorgar, who gave him a slight nod.
"I only brought two thousand legionaries."
"Counting the support companies from the other Legions currently fighting in the sector, that should put us at roughly eighty thousand Space Marines across the entire battlefield."
