Iax let a secondary intelligence control the ship, keeping it in the battleship's shadow to avoid incoming fire, while beginning a frantic analysis.

The database contained more than enough types of weapons capable of inflicting sufficient damage on a massive target like this. It even included star-shattering cannons.

But no matter how the calculations were run, the ship lacked the energy to fire any of those weapons. Modifying a weapon would also require dismantling large sections of the hull. With only that handful of Nanorobots, the battleship above would probably be blown apart before the ship could even be converted into a weapons platform.

Iax did not care whether Imperial Ships were destroyed, but the cooperation partner was still aboard one of them. Guilliman could not die yet.

Iax had only just obtained ship wreckage through cooperation with Guilliman and gained the ability to operate in space.

Unable to find a viable path to victory using any of the available weapons, Iax could only turn attention to the Imperial Ships above.

"Cooperation partner Guilliman, requesting access to the shipboard weapons inventories of all vessels. This unit requires sufficient parameters to calculate a combat strategy. If the probability of victory is too low, this unit recommends that you retreat immediately. Under the cooperation agreement, this unit will do its utmost to ensure your survival."

Guilliman paused at Iax's request. After a moment's consideration, he agreed. However, he had recently learned some specialized communication terms from several Tech-Priests. All the Priests recommended to Guilliman came from the Legio Cybernetica, and they had offered some particular advice on communication.

"You are granted temporary authorization to access all shipboard weapons inventory data, restricted to data retrieval only. Authorization expires in one Terran hour."
