"Clang!"

As the Lion Sword in his hand was stopped by a massive hammer, Lion El'Jonson looked at the opponent before him for the first time, having been absorbed in hacking his way through the enemy.

The towering Daemon wore thick metal armour, his crimson, whip-like tail lashing behind him. A pair of long, curved horns protruded from his half-enclosed helmet, and the weapon that had just stopped the Lion's blade was the enormous iron hammer in his hand.

Several mechanical tentacles were mounted on his heavy armour, carrying heavy Lasguns and plasma weapons.

A sinister laugh escaped Vashtorr's mouth.

"Hahaha, Lion El'Jonson, you're too late! The battle here has already begun. Did you think you could simply snatch the fruits of victory? Lion El'Jonson, I admit you were once a mighty Primarch, but the world has changed. Did you think you could still do as you did in the past?"

"Now you're nothing more than a feeble old man!"

Lion El'Jonson recognized the Daemon before him, and his sword blows grew heavier.

"My loyalty is as unyielding as stone. Even ten thousand years of slumber have not changed it. And you, Vashtorr, are nothing but a lapdog of Chaos. Your very existence defiles the universe. I will purge you utterly!"

The Longsword and the massive hammer collided with a series of heavy, muffled crashes.

Their figures crossed and recrossed at blinding speed.

The Angels of Absolution brandished their weapons, keeping the other enemies around them from approaching.

But against enemies who vastly outnumbered them, even their superb skills and exceptional combat prowess could barely keep the situation under control.

"Rumble!"

An enormous roar suddenly sounded above the monastery.

"Boom!"

A vast cloud of dust rose. The Rebels engulfed by it wailed and screamed.

"Zzzap!"

Several thick beams shot out
