Lion El'Jonson's sudden disappearance left the many Dark Angels in utter panic.

The Angels of Absolution who had accompanied him, however, remained calm.

During their time following Lion El'Jonson, they had experienced his strange ability more than once. His peculiar teleportation ability was like a narrow, twisted path through a jungle.

It had once brought Lion El'Jonson inexplicably before a gathering of the Fallen.

This was because they had repeatedly called out to their Gene-Father in their hearts, seeking wisdom and guidance and praying that he would clear their names. They wandered among the dark stars, evading their brothers' pursuit while offering their loyalty to the Imperium.

As yet, Lion El'Jonson had no way to control his ability or decide where he would appear. He was simply drawn along by its power to wherever he was needed most.

Lion El'Jonson himself found his ability just as baffling.

He had tried more than once to control this strange power of teleportation. Yet he had never managed to master its use, and instead remained guided by its pull.

This time, however, his power had not taken the surrounding Dark Angels with him. Instead, it had taken a whole group of Watchers in the Dark.

Clearly, this was a choice made by Lion El'Jonson's power.

Iax observed his surroundings with curiosity. The scattered fragments of the planet were gradually returning to it.

During the earlier battle, the Dark Angels had subjected it to orbital bombardment, blasting apart a portion of the twisted planet Vashtorr had created.

Iax watched in astonishment as the planetary fragments flung into space were drawn back by an inexplicable force, gradually merging into a whole again.
