After all these years with Fugaku, she knew better than anyone exactly what her husband was capable of.
Fugaku wasn't a bad man.

"Since Jin has the ability, let's leave these matters to him."
He missed the other meaning hidden in Mikoto's words, but he still thought his wife made perfect sense.
Being a clan head was all about putting the right people in the right places.
Jin Uchiha had the ability, and he was now closely tied to the Uchiha Clan—even to Fugaku's own family.
Those bonds were firmly in place. Jin wouldn't betray his own people.
Thinking it over.
He had a share of the Uchiha Merchant Caravan's profits, and Fugaku's son was his student.
