Si Wuyu was kidnapped as a child and confined in a dark room for three days and nights, leaving him afraid of the dark. Tang Shiba’s thoughts identify his second uncle as the organizer and state that his parents intervened before the kidnappers could kill him. Hearing this revelation shakes him, although Shiba notices that he has shown little obvious fear during their nights on the island 29.

He won the Film Emperor title at twenty-three and became the sole head of the Si Family at twenty-five. Before the island incident, he allowed his second uncle’s family into his company because he believed they had saved his parents’ lives. Shiba’s thoughts instead identify that uncle as the person behind the near-fatal attack on them, prompting Si Wuyu to resolve to investigate 12 18.

His family’s internal threats continue after Moon Island. Shiba receives warnings that his second uncle’s family intends to kill him during filming, and later identifies the second uncle as the organizer of an attack on him.
